Piotr Wesołowski
Piotr Wesołowski is a Polish sculptor and architect born in 1980. He studied sculpture and architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts and the Technical University of Wrocław, and also completed studies in art and design at the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom. He earned a PhD in architecture and urban design from the Technical University of Wrocław in 2016, with a dissertation titled Urban Acupuncture – Ephemeral Space Arrangements.
His work includes sculpture and large-scale spatial installations, often presented in public and architectural contexts. He has realized individual exhibitions and permanent installations in Poland and Germany, including projects such as Float, Babel, Herbivore, and Niedźwiedź.
Wesołowski has participated in international exhibitions and sculpture symposia across Europe and beyond, including projects in Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Iran, China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. His work has been included in permanent exhibitions and international competitions, as well as architectural and art exhibitions in Poland.
