Ihor Tkachivskyi

Ihor Tkachivskyi is a Ukrainian sculptor born in 1982 in Ivano-Frankivsk. He studied wood carving at the Kosiv College of Decorative Arts and later earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sculpture from the Lviv National Academy of Arts. He also completed a student exchange at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and worked in the research sector of the Lviv Academy of Arts from 2009 to 2011.

His work spans sculpture, installation, and design, with experience across materials including bronze, wood, stone, metal, sand, snow, and ice. He has participated in international sculpture symposia and festivals across Europe and beyond, including events in France, Italy, Germany, Latvia, Finland, Romania, Argentina, Egypt, and Japan.

Tkachivskyi’s work is included in public and private collections in numerous countries, and his sculptures are part of permanent exhibitions in sculpture parks in Switzerland and Cyprus. He has received multiple international awards, including prizes at sculpture symposia in Spain, Argentina, and Italy.

In addition to his exhibition work, he has completed large-scale public and religious commissions, including sculptural and restoration work for churches and memorials in Ukraine, Italy, and Germany.
