Ho Chunk Family Tree: The Base-
Featuring the Twelve Ho Chunk Clans
March 2001
In the course of carving the base for the Ho Chunk Family Tree, sculptor
Harry Whitehorse created something different than his preliminary sketch
called for. He incorporated twelve images that symbolize the
clans of the Ho Chunk Nation.
